Blackberries

The RHS reported (March 2021) on a study undertaken at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, which found that a total of 73 honey samples were found to contain wild bramble pollen – making blackberries and brambles the most important plant for honeybees. Previously it was thought the most important plant to honeybees was clover.
