After flowering water plants to prevent drying out for at least 6 weeks – to ensure good flowering the next year.

Deadhead as flowers fade.  Allow leaves to die down naturally (do not tie up).

Apply a high-potassium feed such as tomato fertiliser to bulbs in pots & containers and on poor, sandy soil.
