Cut Flowers (Annuals)

Annuals for cut flowers include:

  • cosmos
  • nicotina (flowering tobacco)
  • zinnia

By regularly cutting just above a leaf joint/node, you encourage new growth and flowers.

Allow some nicotiniana alata or nicotiniana sylvestris AGM go to seed, to cultivate for next year.  (But be careful: most hybrid seed will not come true to type.)
