We’ve watched them in the fruit trees – they sample each fruit on the tree for ripeness, and in the meantime manage to ruin almost every fruit on the branches.

They are spectacularly damaging to apple, pear, plum and fig trees.

Parakeet feathers in the pea patch has revealed their penchant for fresh garden grown peas.

Nets are a must when these green devils proliferate.  We’re learning, slowly, by looking and also by losing.
